TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 13 in downtown Trussville.
The parade begins at 3 p.m. on Parkway Drive at North Mall. It proceeds down Parkway Drive and turns right onto U.S. Highway 11. From there, it turns right onto North Chalkville Road and ends just past The Mall.

Following the parade, the tree lighting ceremony will take place on West Mall.
From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Cherokee Drive and Pumphouse Road will be closed to traffic for the safety of participants. Parkway Drive will be closed to traffic from about 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the best decorated floats. First place gets $100, second place earns $75 and third place receives $50.
