TRUSSVILLE — Two Trussville Police Department Chevrolet Tahoes were struck by a vehicle that was attempting to flee from Walmart late Monday night.
Lt. Jeff Bridges said one black male allegedly shoplifted from Walmart, leaving the store with items to a waiting black male in a vehicle.
Bridges said two Trussville Police Department Tahoes attempted to stop the vehicle, but it struck both police cruisers.
The driver of the suspect vehicle was caught after the wreck. The other suspect ran but was soon apprehended, Bridges said.
One officer broke a finger, he said. Neither suspect was injured.
