CENTER POINT — According to Chief Deputy Randy Christian of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a robbery at CVS Pharmacy in Center Point just after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The business is located at the intersection of Center Point Road and 20th Avenue Northwest.
Christian said the suspect entered the pharmacy area of the store, produced a handgun and demanded drugs and money.
The suspect escaped by jumping out of the drive-thru window and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet, 2 inches, wearing a fake beard and sunglasses. He was also wearing a plaid shirt and ball cap.
Christian said no one was injured during the incident. Deputies used tracking dogs in an effort to find the suspect.
