TRUSSVILLE — This week’s Tribune Sports Live Hunt Brothers Pizza/Deerfoot Shell Scholar-Athlete of the Week was Hewitt-Trussville High School senior Emily Rodriguez.

Rodriguez has a 4.31 grade-point average and has been a cheerleader all four years of high school.
Each year she’s taken pre-AP and AP courses to prepare herself for the college level.
