TRUSSVILLE — Trussville City Schools officials announced the opening dates for the new Hewitt-Trussville football stadium and Husky Parkway extension on Wednesday.

According to Trussville City Schools Superintendent Pattie Neill, the bridge on Husky Parkway will open Thursday, Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. after Hewitt-Trussville High School students have been dismissed.
The extension will complete Husky Parkway from Deerfoot Parkway to Trussville-Clay Road.
The traffic pattern at Hewitt-Trussville High School changed Wednesday morning.
There is new signage and new stripes on the road at the entrance of Hewitt-Trussville High School.

The new Hewitt-Trussville Stadium will open Oct. 24 for the Hewitt-Trussville game against Hoover.
