ARGO — Argo residents that want to clean up and clean out will have one more opportunity to do so this year, as the city’s Fall Clean Up is scheduled for Oct. 18-25.
The city is encouraging citizens to clean up their neighborhoods, yards and businesses. Free trash bags will be provided by Alabama People Against A Littered Street and will be available at Argo City Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Argo City Hall is located at 100 Blackjack Road.

Dumpsters will also be available, provided by Advance Disposal. They will be located behind Argo City Hall. The city is asking that citizens use the large dumpsters only. The small one is for City Hall use.
Tires, paint, spray cans and liquid chemicals of any kind can’t be accepted.
