JEFFERSON COUNTY — Authorities are searching for a Birmingham woman wanted on seven counts of credit card fraud involving nursing home patients.
Waheedah Diane Johnson, 35, is wanted on the seven counts of fraudulent use of a credit card. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jack Self said the charges stem from the Trussville Police Department. Self said he didn’t know where the alleged crimes took place.
Johnson’s last known address is in the 3000 block of 42nd Avenue North in Birmingham. She’s 5-foot-4 and weighs 150 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.
Each charge carries a $15,000 bond, so her total bond once taken into custody will be $105,000.
The victims in all the cases were patients at a nursing home.
Trussville Police Department Lt. Jeff Bridges said the case happened at Golden LivingCenter this summer.
Johnson is this week’s “Creep of the Week” featured on the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.
Anyone with information on Johnson’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the sheriff’s office at 205-325-1450.
