TRUSSVILLE — Hewitt Trussville Youth Lacrosse will hold LAX DAY at Spradling Field on Sunday, Nov. 13, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Lacrosse, the oldest organized sport in North America, has been labeled the fastest-growing sport in America by the NCAA for both men and women. Lacrosse offers athletes the opportunity to participate in a sport that includes physicality and conditioning while providing a culture of inclusivity and teamwork that will follow the athlete beyond the field.
Adrianna Piontek will join the Trussville coaching staff and current players, Head Womens’ Lacrosse Coach at Montevallo, to introduce the basics of lacrosse in a free clinic at Spradling Field. The coaches will be joined by college players from Montevallo, Birmingham Southern, Tusculum, and others, many of whom are former Trussville players.
Athletes from kindergarten to high school are encouraged to attend this free event. No experience or equipment is necessary to attend, and those from surrounding communities are welcome.
