From The Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE — Voting for the 2022 Tribune Reader’s Choice Awards continues until Friday, Nov. 11, at 8 p.m.
The awards will highlight the best of the best businesses, events, and venues in The Tribune coverage area, including Trussville, Argo, Clay, Pinson, Center Point, Springville, Leeds, Irondale, and Moody.
Tribune readers will choose winners from the list of finalists in around 120 categories, from Best Bakery to Best Splash Pad. With a simple click for a vote, you have the power to advance your favorite business to the top of the list.
“This is my favorite time of the year because we have a chance to recognize some of the most important people in our communities,” Tribune publisher Scott Buttram said. “Local businesses are the backbone of our economy. They always have been and they always will be. Every business and person nominated should be proud, and the finalists should be especially proud because the people they serve put them here. That’s a strong confirmation that they are doing something right.”
Voters can vote in all categories one time per day, and your first-time voting does require an email address to be entered. It’s essential for people in the communities to vote on their favorite business in each category to show your appreciation for the people that serve you throughout the year. This is their time to shine.
In the three-week nomination round, the Tribune readers cast over 7,000 votes. The top nominees in each category advance to the finals.
Voting ends Friday, Nov. 11, and the winners for each category will be announced live by the Tribune.
