HTMS Principal Jennifer Abney stated the administration and SRO are following the established protocol, and the student will not be in school tomorrow as they continue the investigation.
“We will continue to address each threat reported and apply the TCS Code of Conduct,” Abney Stated. “Classes and general school operations were never disrupted, and the school dismissed as normal. The safety and security of our students, faculty, and staff is our number one priority.
“Please talk to your student about how they communicate at school and on school grounds. Communicate at school and on school grounds. Please encourage them to report what they hear and not repeat it. I spoke with all students during PE classes yesterday about school safety and reviewed the Code of Conduct. I appreciate your partnership in helping keep our students safe at school.”
