Ray Charles Owens, Sr., 71, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
He was a 1968 graduate of Jones Valley High School in Birmingham. He was married in April for 50 years to the love of his life, Elizabeth.
He was predeceased by his son Charle; parents, Earl and Maude Owens; two brothers, Bobby and Harry Owens and his sister, Jerry Walden.
Ray is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Liz); his son, Marc Owens (Donna); four grandsons, TD (Maria), Bobby, Jacob, and Adam; a great-grandson, Ryker; Brother, Mike Owens (Darla) and sister, Susan Owens Blake (Dennis).
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022, with visitation starting at 9 a.m. and service at 10 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL.
