MORGAN COUNTY — A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Danville woman on Monday, May 23, at approximately 4:45 p.m.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), 67-year-old Carolyn McDonald Dulaney was fatally injured when the 2008 Kia Sorento she was driving overturned after being struck by a 2017 Kia Soul, driven by Kenneth Edward Thompson, 23, of Danville.
Dulaney, who was not utilizing her seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Thompson was not injured.
The crash occurred on Brown Road near Iron Man Road, approximately five miles north of Danville, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
