PINSON — A new event venue is now open in Pinson off Main Street.

Located in Pinson off Main Street at 138 Pinson Plaza, the 2,200-square-foot space called Laya Events Venue is now open.
The all-inclusive upscale venue features state-of-the-art audio and uplighting that can comfortably seat 100 guests or accommodate 145 for a cocktail-style reception. Laya Events Venue is the perfect venue for social gatherings, corporate retreats, workshops and classes, business meetings, family celebrations, and private dinners.
In addition, LAYA C.A.R.E.S. its Community Transformation Team hosts quarterly educational services and resources for residents and provides free gently used clothing to women who are entering the workforce, in the workforce, or otherwise in need of clothing from our Laya’s Closet. Laya’s Closet is also part of Laya Events for LAYA C.A.R.E.S. Community Transformation.
Laya Events Venue
Laya Events event venue opened in January 2022. After eighteen months of “upfitting and planning,” Laya Events founder Tonda Thomas said that fate played a hand in her decision to open a business at this location, and she couldn’t be more proud of the new event venue.
“Our team put a lot of heart and hard work into this new business, and we hope that the community is as proud of it as we are,” Thomas said
To promote other local businesses in Pinson, Tonda has established the Laya Events Preferred Vendors List. Renters utilizing a preferred vendor will get a discount on their rental fee. Those interested in becoming preferred vendors can contact them at info@eventsatlaya.com, subject vendor.
The public is invited to tour the new venue every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
