TRUSSVILLE ‚The Trussville Beautification Board will accept nominations beginning April 1-May 12 for its annual beautification contest. Yards will be judged May 16. (If it rains that day, the makeup day is May 23.)
First-place winners will receive a lawn plaque and second-place winners will receive a certificate. The winners will be announced in the local papers and on social media.
The categories are as follows:
- Best Use of Color
- Best Turf
- Best Home Landscape Design
- Best Home Overall
- Best Business Overall
Ballots will be available beginning April 1, 2022 at the Trussville Library, Trussville City Hall and Trussville Chamber of Commerce. A printable version is available online at trussville.org/government/boards-committees/beautification-board.
