BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office is seeking public assistance to find family members of a Birmingham man who passed away on March 19.
Joseph Lee Poole, 77, of Birmingham was found inside his residence by police performing a welfare check at the request of a concerned neighbor according to Deputy Coroner Bill Yates.
“All attempts to locate family have failed and there is little known about the decedent,” Yates stated during. “The decedent’s sister, Betty Poole, recently died and the decedent was the only family listed on her funeral arrangements.”
