GULF SHORES — Hewitt-Trussville’s baseball went 4-0 this week at the Gulf Coast Classic to improve to 17-1 overall on the season, and Jacob Francis threw a no-hitter for the Huskies — their third of the year as a team — and Hewitt-Trussville outscored their opponents 51-10.

Here’s how it went down:
Hewitt 12, Bibb County 2
Riley Quick was the winning pitcher as he struck out seven batters. Quick also helped himself at the plate with a home run. Matt Miller also homered for the Huskies. Kurt Kizer had two hits and drove in three runs. Jack Ollis added two hits.
Hewitt 12, Normal Community (IL) 0
Logan Phillips pitched a shutout and allowed just one hit. Phillips had five strikeouts. Matt Miller homered and had two RBI’s. Brett Moseley had three hits and drove in a pair of runs. Brooks McRae and Ethan Duhon also had RBI’s.
Hewitt 10, Manila (AR) 0
Jacob Francis threw a no-hitter and struck out 12 batters. Ethan Duhon had three hits and a RBI. Brooks McRae and Carson Wideman each had two hits. Kurt Kizer and Matt Miller both drove in a pair of runs.
Hewitt 17 , Bryant (AR) 8
Will Argo picked up the win in relief on Thursday. Jackson Kendrick had two hits and drove in three runs. Brett Moseley also had two hits and had three RBI’s. Brooks McRae and Carson Wideman had two RBI’s each. Jack Ollis had two hits and a RBI.
