PINSON — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the construction worker killed in Pinson on Thursday, March 10, at approximately 6:53 a.m.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Eleazar Rivera Coronado, 42, of Alabaster, sustained blunt force injuries at a construction site when he was struck by a machine pouring a concrete foundation for a residence.

The incident occurred at 6930 Brandy Circle in Pinson in the Innsbrooke subdivision.
Coronado was pronounced dead at the scene.
