BIRMINGHAM — Don’t forget your umbrella this week. The National Weather Service is forecasting that the Birmingham metro area will get 2-3 inches of rain through Thursday.
It’ll be even wetter in some parts of the state, with the Montgomery and Auburn areas scheduled to get 4-6 inches of rain during that same time period.
Fort Payne, Gadsden and Anniston are all forecast for 3-4 inches of rain through Thursday. The Mobile Bay area is also predicted to get 3-4 inches as well.
Rainfall will affect the entirety of the central and eastern parts of the state as the week goes on. As of Monday morning, Baldwin County was already under a Flash Flood Warning.
