MARION COUNTY — According to the Alabama State Troopers, a 49-year-old man was killed in a single vehicle crash in Marion County on Wednesday morning.
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, has claimed the life of a Bear Creek man,” Senior Trooper Gregory Corble said. “Jeremy Poston, 49, was killed when the 1988 Jeep Wagonner he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.”
Poston was pronounced deceased on scene. Corble said the crash occurred on Alabama 253 at the 19 mile-marker approximately fourteen miles east of Hamilton.
No further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
