FAIRFIELD — Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed on Interstate 59/20 in Fairfield.
Jeremy Laine Kelley, 46, a homeless man, was crossing the interstate when he was hit by a tractor-trailer, according to ALEA.
The incident happened around 4:18 a.m. on Thursday, July 1. Kelley was pronounced dead on the scene.
