MOBILE — Attorney General Steve Marshall announced the arrest of a Prattville man for first-degree rape. Bradley Wise Campbell, 23, surrendered April 30 at the Baldwin County Jail and was released on a $15,000 bond.
Attorney General Marshall’s Criminal Trials Division presented evidence to a Baldwin County grand jury on March 23, resulting in an indictment* returned against Campbell on the same day.
Specifically, the indictment charges Campbell with engaging in sexual intercourse with the victim while the victim was incapable of consent by reason of being incapacitated.
No further information about the investigation or about Campbell’s alleged crime other than that stated in the indictment was released.
If convicted, Campbell faces a maximum penalty of 10 to 99 years or life, and a fine of up to $60,000.
He is considered innocent until proven guilty.
