FORESTDALE — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that wounded a child in Forestdale.
Deputies were called to the scene in the 1400 block of Cherry Avenue, at 1:21 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020. The five-year-old victim’s brother had called 911 to report the shooting.
Paramedics were treating the boy when deputies arrived. He was taken to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
