CENTER POINT, Ala. (AP) — An apartment fire in Alabama displaced multiple Birmingham-area families Sunday afternoon.
The fire began sometime before 1:30 p.m. in the Woodside Condominiums in Center Point. The blaze was under control within 30 minutes, Center Point Fire Department officials said. No injuries have been reported.
Around 15 people were displaced by the fire. Eight units were damaged. Officials on the scene told WBRC that the Red Cross has been notified.
