LAMAR COUNTY — A two-vehicle crash on Saturday, Oct. 24 has claimed the life of a Millport man.
Authorities have identified the victim as 53-year-old Darrell A. Estes. According to Cpl. Richard A. Itter with the Alabama Department of Public Safety, Estes was killed when his 2003 Ford Focus collided with a 2005 Ford Taurus on AL 96 near Millport.
The wreck occurred on Saturday evening at approximately 6:15 p.m. Estes was pronounced dead at the scent.
Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the accident.
