JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Metropolitan Criminal Justice Executives Association (MCJEA) recently held it’s annual range day event.
Range day features several vendors who show off some of the latest and greatest products available to law enforcement. Many also provide equipment with which the executive law enforcement officers can experiment.
The event was held at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Training Academy. Sheriff’s, chief’s, district attorney’s and other criminal justice executives in the area enjoyed a day of fellowship and networking between agencies.
This year’s corporate sponsors were Alabama Power Corporate Security, Trijicon, Inc., Springfield Armory, MAC Uniform and Equipment, Virtual Academy, Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama, Inc., Caliber and Industrial Chemicals, Inc., The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Homewood Police Department.
