TUSCALOOSA — Bryant Bank was named the Best Small Bank by Newsweek, after an analysis of over 2,500 institutions.
The comparison by Newsweek and Lending Tree used 55 factors to assess which banks were best serving the needs of consumers amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to Newsweek Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Diane Harris.
“Like virtually every other aspect of our lives – work, school, shopping, entertainment, you name it – the pandemic is changing the way Americans bank,” said Harris. And those changes, in turn, are creating a new set of challenges and opportunities when it comes to picking the financial institution that best suits our banking needs.”
Overall, 55 separate factors were assessed, covering a wide variety of fees, current and historical interest rates, account terms, consumer service features, mobile app satisfaction, bank profile and more.
