JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting that took place on Oak Drive East just outside of Trussville on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020.
Dispatchers received the call around noon. Trussville Fire and Rescue has transported one man to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Investigators believe the shooting involved an ex-husband and a boyfriend. Authorities say the two men involved are 29 and 33 years of age. The 29-year-old has been taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Their identities have not been released.
Two individuals have been detained for questioning.
