TUSCALOOSA — A University of Alabama student was killed after being struck by a train on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, according to multiple reports.
The student, who has not been publicly identified, was pronounced dead on the scene, around 9:30 p.m.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department is investigating and said no foul play is suspected.
The university is offering counseling for students, faculty and staff.
