BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified a man killed in a crash on Interstate 65 near Fultondale.
Faris Hashem Ibrahim, 22, of Birmingham, was pronounced dead on the scene on Sunday, June 14, 2020, just after 3 a.m.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating the crash. Investigators said Ibrahim lost control of his vehicle and struck a concrete retaining wall near exit 266.
