BESSEMER — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a deadly crash in the Bessemer area on Saturday, May 30, 2020.
Deputies were dispatched to the 7400 block of Dickey Springs Road around 6 a.m.
A 2009 Nissan Altima had left the roadway and hit a tree, according to the sheriff’s office. Two males were inside the vehicle and one of them was pronounced dead on the scene. The other male was taken to the hospital for treatment. There is no word on his condition.
The Sheriff’s Accident Reconstruction Team is now examining the crash.
