LEEDS — When Leeds High School seniors take the stage to receive their diplomas on Thursday, May 28, 2020, fewer people are expected in the crowd because of the coronavirus pandemic. But, Chick-Fil-A in Leeds is making a livestream from the ceremony possible.
The graduation will be held at the LHS football stadium, beginning at 6 p.m.
The Tribune will stream the commencement live on www.TrussvilleTribune.com (under the Trib TV tab) and on Facebook.
Chick-Fil-A in Leeds is sponsoring the special, just as it sponsored the Moody High School graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 21.
School officials said they are thankful for the opportunity and hope families of graduates will be able to enjoy graduation from the safety of their homes.
