BIRMINGHAM – Assurance Scientific Laboratories and Christ Health Center partnered with teams from Church of the Highlands on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, to test people for the coronavirus.
The drive-thru testing site reached capacity early in the day, but it will reopen at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 19.
“We are so thankful for all of the amazing team members who have worked tirelessly to make this possible,” Church of the Highlands posted on Facebook. “We also want to say a huge THANK YOU to you, Highlands, because your giving is making a difference! We are continuing to stand in prayer for healing, protection, hope, and peace for our community and world in this time. Let’s keep making a difference together!”
