BIRMINGHAM — The location of the drive-thru coronavirus testing will change on Wednesday to relieve snarling traffic on U.S. Highway 280, officials said. Additionally, three previous testing sites will not be open.
The new location will be at the Church of the Highlands Grants Mill Campus located at 4700 Highlands Way, Birmingham, AL 35210
Testing will begin at 9 am. and vehicles may begin lining up at 6:30 a.m. Testing will be provided until capacity is reached.
Dr. Robert Record of Christ Health Center said hundreds were tested on Tuesday.
Assurance Scientific Labs will not have coronavirus drive-thru testing at the Church of the Highlans Grandview campus, Acton Road in Vestavia or Memorial Drive in Bessemer.
