TRUSSVILLE – Preparations are underway for the second annual Trussville Job Fair, set for Thursday, March 19, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Trussville Civic Center. Sponsors for the event are Darrell Walker Workforce and St. Vincent’s East.
“Last year’s job fair was a huge success, and we’re expecting it to be even better this year,” said June Mathews, executive director of the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce, the hosting entity for the event. “This is a great way to connect employers with those in need of jobs in our community, and we’re pleased to be a part of that.”
Vendor space for employers with current job openings is $50 for chamber members and $100 for non-members. Registration forms are available online at www.trussvillechamber.com or at the chamber office at 400 Main Street in downtown Trussville.
The job fair is free for job seekers, but pre-registration is requested. Anyone wishing to add their name to the registration list should call the chamber office at 205-655-7535.
