TRUSSVILLE — Thousands of dollars were raised Saturday night at the Dancers Against Cancer Trussville Gala.
Local dance organizations took to the stage at the Trussville Civic Center for a fundraiser for the National Dancers Against Cancer Organization and UAB’s Department of Neuro-Oncology. UAB’s Neuro-Oncology Department works to provide treatment options for brain cancer patients.
As dancers entered the stage, they each told the crowd who they were dancing in honor or in memory of.
Trussville City Councilmember Alan Taylor emceed the event.
The gala, at the Trussville Civic Center, included dinner and auctions.
