ST. CLAIR COUNTY — A woman arrested in St. Clair County now faces more charges after not complying with a court order, according to court documents.
Kayland Cheyenne Snider, 26, of Lincoln, was arrested on May 28, 2019, after law enforcement officers said she told them a suspect was not inside a house where he was hiding. The suspect, who is known to law enforcement, was inside the house. Snider was charged with obstruction of justice.
According to court documents, Snider pleaded guilty to lying to law enforcement about where the suspect was hiding. She was given a 12-month, suspended sentence and two years probation, as long as she completed a Court Referral Officer Program. Officers said she did not report for the program on Nov. 5. On Dec. 29, Snider was arrested on a charge of failure to appear.

Between Snider’s sentencing date and her Court Referral Officer Program date, court documents show Snider was also arrested on Oct. 14, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia in Calhoun County. She was ordered to a drug treatment facility but left before she completed the program, according to facility management.
Snider was released from the St. Clair County Jail on Dec. 30 and taken to the Jacksonville Police Department.
