From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
Three national brands continue to sell recalled products that have been linked to deaths and injuries, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods and Marshalls are selling 19 different products, which include baby items, that were recalled between 2014-19.
One of the products is an inclined sleeping accessory for Ultra-Lite Day & Night Play Yards by Fisher-Price, which was supposed to be pulled due to infant deaths linked to the company’s other inclined sleepers.
Hazards linked to the recalled products include burns, choking, death, explosion, falls and lacerations, per the CPSC.
The commission said about 1,200 units were still being sold at the retailers.
