Mrs. Vivian Cole, 85, of Madison, Alabama, passed away on Nov. 10, 2019, at her residence with her family at her side.
Mrs. Cole was born in Huntsville, Alabama on Aug.10, 1934. She was a former resident of Birmingham, Alabama, for most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband Neal Wayne Cole, her parents Estelle Hosch and James Franklin Sledge, sisters Katherine Bolden, Margaret Wales, Ninnie Frankie Isbell and brother Leon Sledge. Survivors include son Neal Wayne Cole II and wife Carol Wilson Cole, grandson Neal Wayne Cole III, and Elizabeth Cole both of Madison, Alabama, sister Mary Estelle Patterson of Hazel Green, Alabama and brother Lee Sledge and wife Susan of Griffin, Georgia, and several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Judy Beckman who took care of her for five years and special niece Margie Taylor who was at her side throughout her illness. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. with chapel services following.
