BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Water Works Board is considering a rate increase and there will be a public hearing on the matter on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019.
Council President Pro Tem Wardine Alexander, who chairs the Utilities and Technology Committee, said it is important to give rate-payers the opportunity to speak up and ask questions.
The BWWB’s public hearing to discuss the matter is scheduled for Thursday, November 14, at 5:30 p.m., at the principal office of the Board, 3600 First Avenue North (in the Boardroom on the second floor).
