TRUSSVILLE — A new pizzeria is coming soon to Trussville’s Homestead Village Shopping Center. The restaurant will open in the spot that formerly housed IronStone Pizza.
Owner Teddy Zane said he plans to open Laster’s Iron Stone Pizzeria by the first week of December.
Zane also owns Laster Sundries on Main, in Springville. The restaurant’s authentic NY pizza is their specialty.

IronStone Pizza in Trussville closed in June. Managers for the chain’s headquarters said while the Trussville location was doing well, the Vestavia Hills and Hoover pizzeria were not as successful and they said it made more sense to close all Alabama locations.
