CENTER POINT — Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a black male suspect wearing a gray hoodie after a UPS delivery driver was reportedly robbed and kidnapped at gunpoint on Tuesday in Center Point.
“On Tuesday November 5, 2019, at approximately 7:46 p.m., a delivery driver was robbed and kidnapped while making a delivery in the 300 block of Sunhill Road Northwest in Center Point,” Chief Deputy David Agee said. “The driver reported that he was making a delivery when he was approached by a black male wearing a gray hoodie.”
According to Agee, the driver said that the man pulled a gun, demanded his keys and then drove off with him in the back of the truck.
“The driver was able to open the rear door of the truck and jump out after a few blocks,” Agee said. “A resident witnessed the driver jumping out of the truck and called 911.”
