JEFFERSON COUNTY — A lock-down has been lifted after an incident near Chalkville Elementary School on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019.
Capt. David Agee, with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, said a man was found near the campus with a weapon. The man was taken into custody.
Agee said the man was not at the school. He was unable to provide information on any charges the man may be facing, if any.
