BIRMINGHAM — Birmingham Fire and Rescue responded to an explosion on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019.
Authorities say one person was killed and another critically injured in the blast.
The explosion happened near 80th Street and Fourth Avenue South. A van and a home nearby were damaged.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating.
