Pinson Valley places 4th at Class 6A, Section 5 meet, stamps ticket to state

OXFORD – The Pinson Valley boys’ cross country team qualified for the state cross country meet after placing fourth overall in the AHSAA Class 6A, Section 5 meet in Oxford, Alabama, on Friday.

The Pinson Valley boys’ team was led by the third-place finish of Seth Lord (16:34.28). Carlos Del Toro and Hunter Siddle rounded out the top 25 in a field of 67 runners.

The lone Pinson Valley girl, Lillian Sivers, booked her ticket to state with a 23rd place finish (22:50.44).
