TUSCALOOSA — The Tuscaloosa Fire Department’s Swift Water Rescue team has recovered the body of a man in Hurricane Creek on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019.
Authorities have been searching for a missing man in the area, but the identity of the body has not been determined at this time. The body was found in the Holt-Peterson Cuttoff Road area, according to the Tuscaloosa Police Department. The Violent Crimes Unit has been notified.
Cecil McAllister, 97, of Cottondale, was reported missing Tuesday. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a Missing Senior Alert. Anyone with information is asked to call the Tuscaloosa Police Department.
