JASPER — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed on Thursday, Oct. 31.
Matthew Shane Quinn, 43, was walking eastbound on Highway 78 when he was struck by a vehicle. It happened around 5:30 p.m., near Jasper.
The driver of the vehicle left the scene of the crash. Quinn was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alabama State Troopers are working to locate the driver of the vehicle.
