TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department is investigating after a theft from a business on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019.
The theft, at Energy Systems Southeast, on Veterans Circle, was caught on surveillance cameras. The time stamp on the video shows the theft happened between 7 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.
In the video, you can see a man entering the business through a chain-link fence. The man broke into a trailer and stole six batteries, a welder, five copper cables and two radiators. The value of the stolen goods is estimated to be around $2,000.
The manager at Energy Systems Southeast said the company is working on reinforcing the chain-link fence, to ensure security around the premises.
