TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department is investigating after a nude photo of a student at Hewitt-Trussville High School was circulated on social media.
According to police, a student took a photo of a football player, in the locker room. The photo was taken of the child’s buttocks.
The photo was sent to several other students on SnapChat, according to Police Chief Eric Rush. Investigators confiscated some phones on Wednesday, Oct. 30, in order to investigate the matter.
The student who took the photo could face charges. Parents and students with information are urged to call the Trussville Police Department.
On the same day, the school was put on lockdown after an unrelated threat was made by a student, according to police.
