JEFFERSON COUNTY — A part of Floyd Bradford Road remains closed Thursday, due to an emergency closure.
The road was closed Wednesday after a culvert was damaged, officials said via social media.
Only local traffic is permitted between Smith Sims Road and Bishop Lane and also between Amber Hills Road and Saddle Trail.
When the water recedes, the situation will be evaluated and repairs made. Jefferson County Commissioner Joe Knight said Thursday night, the water remains too high for crews to access the damage.
