TARRANT — An Adamsville man was found shot within his vehicle in Tarrant on Sunday evening.
The Jefferson County Coroner said Steven Wayne Riley, 34, was shot multiple times in his truck around 8:35 p.m. in the 1200 block of Forrest Street.
According to coroner Bill Yates, multiple shots were fired into the vehicle. Wounded, Riley proceeded to drive off where in which he subsequently crashed his vehicle into another truck.
Riley was taken to UAB Hospital and was pronounced dead at 2:58 a.m. on Monday morning.
